i said to brit, thinking that no one was going to be there and it was going to be lame.
my house. saturday night. bonfire. just hanging out.

a few people showed up. then a few more... and then a few more...
and by the end there were about 30 teenagers in my back/front yard.

i didn't think anyone would even want to come to my house, let alone 30 kids.

so, today, at school, i got compliments on a great night.
but i also heard alot of  "so, sarah i heard you had a party...how come i wasn't invited?"
SORRY!! i wasn't really in charge of invites.

it was great.

makes me feel.. popular... if that's not the most conceited thing to say.

renewed feelings. for you.

we were. once before. when we were younger. what happened? i have no idea.

we now are really good friends. i love talking to you. you make me smile. i cant wait to see you.
yeah. i like you.

your brother. your twin brother. he is also amazing. and he was the one for a little longer then the summer.
he might still be the one.
yeah. i like him.

but then some very stressing news came along....
me? really? alot? sad that i like your brother? what? what's going on?
who i like the most? do i have to choose?

i mean, i am only 15...its not like i am looking for a boyfriend. a husband.
cant i just like you both? does it work that way?

i really dont want to hurt any of your feelings. you guys are some of my best friends.
you both make me nervous. both make me happy. both who i want to talk too.

i guess it really doesnt matter..i am too young anyway.
but we all know that feeling... when you feel pretty, beautiful in fact. for the first time in awhile.

so, it comes down to this.
i am a teenage and mormon girl. i like you both. and there's nothing wrong with that.
please just both be my friends.

6:00... at the high school. conditioning for soccer.

7:45-2:15.... school.... oh the school.

3:30-6:00... soccer practice.

7:00... football game....

lets see... that's a total of about 14-15 hours at the High School today.

where has my summer and my life gone?

i was really about to post the same exact thing. but this girl says it so much better then i ever could.

and we really do need a lunch/social/meet up/ flirt spot again.

like tomorrow so i know where to go! :)

repeatitive with a reason.

so... i know pretty much every post this month has been about either soccer, school, or summer.

buuuutttt... guess what!?!?!

i started JV today. center mid. and we won. 8-0. varsity? they won too. 7-1.

oh and it was the first day of school.

talk about disclosure documents...alllll day!

simple as that.

lets make this simple.

school has officially started.

sophomore year.

summer. no more.

soccer. everyday.

friends. couldn't live without them.

boys....oh, boys. what's a girl to do?

napping during the day. see ya later.

seven peaks. no more time!

friends. like sisters.

homework... eh.

make-up. i forgot how to put it on.

shopping. if only i had more money.

friends. the best that has ever happened.

sunshine. won't be enjoyed quite as often.

school bus. i am officially a daily rider.

16. less than 5 months.

friends. notice how i keep mentioning them?

T-shirts. flip-flops. swimsuits.
being replaced by...
lockers. binders. notebooks.

high school.
the most exciting and nerve-racking place to be.

you gotta love it.

soph-o-more da-ay.

you get a bunch of 15-16 year olds.

put them in a new/larger school.

tell them to find their classes.

and then feed them pizza.

and all the while groupies are getting together,

couples are being awkward,

kids are freaking out and flirting,

and best friends are catching up like no other.

and this all adds up to the beginning of another school year.

ok. this blog post seems a little... "chick-flicky". anyone agree?
but, to some it up..i hung out with some of the most amazing people last night. including one who happened to give me a hug goodbye and make my life. you gotta love him.

i was inspired.

for those of you who read cotton and curls, you know what this next post is about.
 and for those unlucky ones who don't. do. right now. its amazing.

well, anyway, i got plenty of hand-me-downs from my aunt. mostly jeans, which fit around the waist, but not my short little legs.

so, after being a following reader of cotton and curls, i got creative.

so what used to be an assortment of baggy jeans, now is a more attractive assortment of shorts, capris, and nicely hemmed pants.

i love them.

and i am proud.
